Continue our Phnom Penh discovery with the visit to the Victory Monument, and the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures - throughout the ages. Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha.
We take a 'walk back' into the brutal, (modern) history that Cambodia shockingly suffered under Pol Pot's reign during the 1970's, visiting 'The Killing Fields' in the afternoon.

In the morning, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond.

Afternoon, Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara). Late afternoon, enjoy the Sunset at the Angkor Wat.  Overnight in Siem Reap.

Morning, transfer to Banteay Srei temple (10th c), regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. Continue to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.

Afternoon, visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of Khmer classical art. Preah Ko erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor.

After breakfast in hotel, visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia.
Afternoon, transfer to Siem Reap airport for the flight to Luang Prabang, Laos. Arrive in Luang Prabang, meet our local guide at the airport for the transfer to the hotel in city center and at leisure for the rest of the day to relax or explore the city on your own. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, transfer to the pier to board a traditional long boat for a cruise on the Mekong river. On the way, visit villages located on the riverbank includingBan Xang Hai andlearn how local rice whiskyis made. Continue on to Pak Ou, visit Tham Ting and Tham Theung caves with their Lao style Buddhist sculptures assembled over the centuries by local people. On the way back, visit the village of Ban Xang Khong, the village of homemade Saa Paper.

In the afternoon, spend time visiting temples in Luang Prabang including Wat Visun Temple, built during the reign of King Wisunarat. That Mako and Wat Aham, known as the "Monastery of the Opened Heart", Wat Mai and walk along the streets to Wat Xieng Thong, located on the bank of the Mekong River. It is one of the most elegant and best-preserved examples of 16th century Luang Prabang temple architecture.

You might want to wake up early morning (05h30) and observe monks leaving their pagodas and walking barefoot along the streets in the long lines collecting alms. It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spirituality of the Lao people. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, drive through beautiful rice fields, hills and villages to Kuang Si Waterfalls (1 hour drive). On the way, stop to visit a small ethnic minority village to learn more about their culture and daily life. Arrive at Kuang Si Waterfalls, relax or possibily walk up to the top of the waterfall for a nice view and enjoy the beautiful landscape and fresh water in which you can swim during the summer. Visit the bear sanctuary next to the falls, run by Free The Bears Fund Inc. Return to Luang Prabang in the mid afternoon and take a walk up Phu Si hill and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view overlooking Luang Prabang and the Mekong river.

Evening, you are free to explore the Night Bazaar, where you can find lovely collections of handmade textiles produced by local communities from the region surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Afternoon, transfer to the train station for a fast train to Vientiane. On arrival in Vientiane, you are met and transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast, depart for a visit to the Buddha Park, located outside Vientiane Capital. The Buddha Park, also known as Xieng Khuan is filled up filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues built in 1958 by Laos Shaman. The concrete sculptures are bizarre but intriguing, sitting majestically in the peaceful park. Drive back to Vientiane. En route, stop at Mai Savanh to explore the traditional textiles of the Lao people. This shop specializes in high quality silk products produced by several families from the northern province of Luang Nam Tha Province and the southern provinces of Attapeu and Sekong.

In the afternoon, city sightseeing with the visit to Wat Sisaket, the only temple left intact after the Siamese (Thai) invasion in 1828. It is one of the most beautiful temples in the capital with thousands of miniature Buddha statues.  Continue on to the nearby Wat Phra Keo, which is also a museum displaying a collection of both Lao and Khmer works of art and the Presidential Palace (outside).  Stop at Wat Simuang, considered to be the guardian of the city’s spirit. End the day with a visit to Pangkham Street, with its plethora of tailor shops, and the Nam Phou Fountain. Here you can see how traditional areas of the city are embracing modernity.

Breakfast at hotel and then sightseeing tour to visit: At first visit to Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image and then continue to visit Wat Arun, perhaps better known as the Temple of the Dawn, is one of the best known landmarks and one of the most published images of Bangkok. After that, visit to Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, as well as the largest single Buddha image: the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or The Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The temple is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage Reclining Buddha. Lunch on your own, after lunch we continue to visit the most famous tourist places in Bangkok, Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there's a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European inspired designs of the Grand Palace (the roof being the exception). After this place we return back to the hotel and free at leisure.

A 120 km drive to the most colorful Floating Market in Thailand. Passing the largest source of Salt Production in Thailand along the roadside of the highway. At Damnoen Saduak, visit the gardener's house, see how the sugar is being made right from the coconut tree and as option take the long tailed speedboat to the main part market. See a fascinating Thai way of life from the ancient time which is still widely practiced in this area. A chance to try various kinds of exotic Thai fruits and choices of Thai handicrafts available at the spot. Later on, continue to Kanchanaburi for visit the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai as the Memorial of World War II. Then, visit at the War museum and war cemetery nearby. Check in at the hotel and free at leisure.
