Tour itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B/L/D)

08.30 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Mai Chau. You will embark on a scenic 3.5 hour journey to Mai Chau, travelling over the Cun Pass with its glorious panorama of lush valleys and mountains. The region is home to White Thai, H'mong, Zao, Muong, Tay and Hoa ethnic minorities who live in charming stilt homes. On arrival at the village, you will be free to explore Mai Chau and its surrounds. In the evening you can enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals with an extensive home cooked meal preceded by the traditional welcome tasting of a local rice wine.

Day 2: Explore Mai Chau Villages (B/L/D)

After having breakfast, we will drive to Hang Kia, known as an ideal spot for tourists who love to explore about ethnic life. Passing villages of Muong and Dzao tribal groups, you will stop on the way to visit Pa Co and Xa Linh communes where H’Mong people stay and held their ethnic market every Sunday morning.
Arrive in Hang Kia, the home of Flower Hmong minority people, you will be overwhelmed with fanciful scenery of clouds floating along the hill and mountain.
Lunch time: At 12:30 pm, enjoy your lunch at a local house.
In the afternoon, you will continue walk around to discover the community. This is the chance for you to admire their hospitality and special meals of the mountainous area.
Say goodbye to Hang Kia Village, you will be transferred back to Mai Chau.

Day 3: Mai Chau – Return To Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast at the homestay, you will have time to ride a bicycle to visit beautiful ethnic villages such as Na Tang, Cha Long, Tòng Đậu, Van Village.
You will be their guests in their traditional stilt houses that definitely allow you to see firsthand how these minority peoples live. The ride passes through the villages, across lush rice paddies and above a valley for stunning views.
Lunch in a local house before taking our car ride back to Hanoi. We would arrive in Hanoi around 5.30 pm. End of the 3 Day Mai Chau Tour from Hanoi.
