3 Weeks Vietnam Cambodia Tour - The Ultimate 21-Day Private Journey Through Southeast Asia

Leave the hotel in Hanoi around 8am to Trang An Ecotourism in Ninh Binh province, 100km from Hanoi to the south. On arrival, we take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes which is a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves, and home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in the Red Book of Vietnam. While rowing through Trang An grotto in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent forested mountains upon which graze white goats, visitors enjoy a heaven on earth. After about 3 hour boat trip, come back to the land and enjoy lunch with local specialties. After lunch, we drive to Bai Dinh pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Late afternoon, return Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Today, we will take the sightseeing of the most city's outstanding historical and cultural sites. The visit includes:
- The complex of Ho Chi Minh historical sites, also called the political center of Vietnam including Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, His house on stilt, One-pillar Pagoda.
- The Temple of Literature for the brief understanding about the two most popular religions in Vietnam (Buddhism and Confucianism).
- Visit one of the museums in Hanoi (Museum of History, Museum of Ethnology, Museum of Fine Art, Hoa Lo Prison, etc). 
- Enjoy our welcome show of northern rural of Vietnam – Water Puppet show.
- Visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
Early evening, enjoy dinner then transfer to Railway station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train in the soft berths cabin with A/C.

Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 6.00am. Meet the local guide at the main entrance and take our private car for the transfer to a local restaurant to freshen up and for breakfast.
After breakfast we will leave for a Hill Tribe Market for about 2 hours driving to the market. Join in the colorful market of the tribal people in this region. On the fair market the H'mong, Dzao, Phu La people in their best traditional costumes go to the market for shopping and meeting friends and relatives…

Say goodbye to the colorful market and drive to Chay River where you will get on a boat for a river adventure. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high Rock Mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls while cruising along the river. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (Trung Do village) by the river. After the boat trip, we continue our drive to the hotel in Sapa town. Check in hotel on arrival and free time to rest. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

A whole day today is for discovering the nature as well as different culture of hill tribal people. From hotel we start our trekking up and down hills with nice rice terraces, spectacular scenery the Fansipan Mount, and through scenic Muong Hoa valley. We walk up and down the rice terraces, hills, bamboo forests and streams to Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages which is decorated by terraced-fields and the house of H'mong, Red Zao and Zay people. You will have great opportunity for taking photos of breathtaking landscapes, meeting friendly hill-tribe people at home and work, and getting to understand their tradition, habits...Enjoy picnic lunch. We will return to our hotel in Sapa by car in late afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Sapa. 

After breakfast in hotel, we will drive to the Silver Waterfall, 12km from Sapa town (the biggest one in Sapa). From here you will enjoy the excellent view of mountain and green valley. Keep riding the car for 3 more km, you will arrive in the heaven gate. This is the highest pass in Vietnam (the heaven gate tram ton pass 1995 metter above sea level). In a good weather day you will see the spectacular view of the valley and the mountain Fansipan. 
Then, drive back and take a 2km short trekking with the local guide to Cat Cat Village, the home of H’mong Ethnic. Meeting and talking with locals at their home to learn more about their daily life and get to know their habits. From here, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French by the wonderful waterfall.
Get back to Sapa town for lunch and time at leisure.  
15:00: Board our luxury van for the trip back to Hanoi on the highway. There are some stops on the way to relax. 
21:00: Arrive in Hanoi, drop off at the hotel and check in. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, you will leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas and the world’s largest marine limestone ‘karst’ landscape. There you will board your boat, a wooden junk built from the model of the old Vietnamese court vessels with sails, a wide transom and rectangular superstructure, that will take you first to the busy World Heritage area and then to some of the less well-known grottoes and caves. Weather permitting, you will be able to swim, fish, climb a hill for an overview of the Bay’s remarkable seascape, or venture into some of the sea level caves in a small sampan. All your meals will be provided on board, usually based on fresh seafood. Your overnight will be aboard.

Moring we will transfer you to Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue. On arrival in Hue, you are met and transferred to the hotel for a short leisure time. Then we take the sightseeing in Hue to the Ancient Imperial Citadel, a complex of palaces and temples built by the Nguyen from early 19th Century for which Hue was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.
Afternoon, embark on a drive to Hue’s countryside, through scenic villages and green rice fields to reach one of the Emperor’s tomb. It is one of the most beautiful of all Emperors tombs, in a complex of pavilions, temple, courtyards and lakes.
Late afternoon, enjoy a traditional boat trip on the scenic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Overnight in Hue.

Today, you will have a four hour drive over the scenic Hai Van pass along the coast to the ancient town of Hoi an by the bank of Thu Bon River. You will have a short stop in spectacular Lang Co beach for refreshment and visit Cham Sculpture Museum and Marble Mountain in Danang before reaching Ho iAn town. On arrival in Hoi An, check in hotel and leisure time on your own. Overnight in Hoi An.

Morning, take a discovery trip to MySon, 40km from Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered being in the same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries were built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Admiring great architectural and art works of the Cham lost Kingdom. Having a brief understanding of the history, culture for which My Son was recognized the World Cultural Heritage. Return to Hoi An in the morning.
In the afternoon, you will have a guided tour to see the interesting sights of this ancient city. Some hundreds years ago, this town thrived o­n trading with the Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. You will visit a historical Old House, Japanese Covered Bridge, Old Temple and Silk Factory. Overnight in Hoi An.

You will have your free time to explore Hoi An Town. Late afternoon, you start food tour from 17:30 to 21:30
Our tour will begin with a pick up from your hotel. You will be greeted by our friendly local guide and then introduced the safe way of riding motorbike. After a quick briefing, we will start heading out for some poin to take photo for sunset and sightseeing a bit then we take you for delicious food
First stop is the famous Madam Phuong 'banh mi' shop in Hoi An where you will try one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches in Vietnam.
We then vespa will take you to the Hoi An Central Market on the bank of the Thu Bon River. Here, you will enjoy 'Cao Lau' noodles with authentic local taste, a specialty just found in Hoi An.
Next, we will go through a small alley and stop at local business house and see how real Vietnamese life looks like. Here, we will discover a Vietnamese traditional cake: Banh Beo – a popular snack of Hoi An people. You will have a chance to talk and take photos with the owner of the shop.
Afterwards, it‘s time to relax your stomach. Our tour guide and vespa team will ride and take you to the oldest pagoda in Hoi An where few tourists know about , then take a lovely trip through the countryside and see farmers working on the rice paddies under the sun.
After stopping at the rice fields we will continue our trip and try 'Banh Khot' - a round pancake made with rice flour, turmeric, coconut milk, quail egg and vegetables at a famous street vendor near Hoai Square.
Next, you will take the food challenge: Balut (fertilized duck egg), one of the Top 10 weird foods in the world. Egg no more, duck not yet - It is not because of the taste but because of its appearance.
Next, we will go to a local restaurant by the river to enjoy a special dinner and discover a part of culture of Vietnamese people – “Nhau” style with cold beer and delicious food.
Around 9:30 we will take you back to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Morning, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel. Our first amazing views will start right away, to reach Ba Na Hills we will take a ride via Cable Cars.

The most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit the Dream Stream Cable car Station and see the panoramic views of Quang Nam - Danang City from high above.

After finishing the first cable car, you will visit the Golden Bridge that has recently gone viral, a France wine cellar, Le Jardin D’amour(consists of 9 gardens) and Linh Ung pagoda.

Continue the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Linh Phong Monastery, Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple & Tru Vu Tea Shop. Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome ...Challenge the most popular adventure ride - Alpine Coaster (free ride)

Early afternoon, transfer to airport to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh, you are transferred to hotel and relax. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) absolutely nice choices for a free stroll and Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we arrive in Can Tho where we stay at the hotel by the Mekong River.

Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we breakfast and start our trip with a boat cruise on sparking streams along the endless waterway of Mighty Mekong River to Cai Rang floating markets. There will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish jostling for trade. Sellers advertisers their wares by crying out across the waters. We visit the lush orchards and are treated to a delicious tropical fruits. Then back to Ho Chi Minh city and transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. On arrival in Siem Reap airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel and leisure time to relax. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Morning, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins.  The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.

Afternoon, explore the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. City & Bayon Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lepper King Terrace and Royal Place area.
Late afternoon, enjoy sunset over the Angkor Wat and transfer back to the hotel.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Morning, drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent, Banteay Srei built in the 10^th Century and dedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man.

Continue to the ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya which flourished in the late 9^th and earlier 10^th centuries. These are the earliest temples in the Angkor area and are referred to the Rolous group we visit the main one called Bakhong temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Today you will start with a short drive to Kampong Phluck, located a short drive away. Kampong Phluck is a permanent settlement on the Tonle Sap Lake with a small land based village attached to it. Its remarkable mangrove forest is unique in the Siem Reap area. You will board a local boat and cruise the waterways observing the authentic and diverse lifestyle of the local floating community.
Return to the hotel in early afternoon and you will be free in the rest of the day to relax. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Today, you are free at leisure. You might want to relax at hotel pool or explore more of Siem Reap town, or go shopping in the Old market area, etc... Overnight in Siem Reap.
