Morning, visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilt, One Pillar Pagoda. 
Afternoon, enjoy a cyclo tour of Hanoi, exploring the magical old quarter and French colonial district and enjoy a water puppet performance.

After breakfast at hotel, we leave Hanoi for Cuc Phuong National Park (approx. 3-4hrs). This is a treat for children as Cuc Phuong is Vietnam’ s oldest National Park and is home to an amazing variety of wildlife. Upon arrival, settle into the bungalows located within the lush forests before a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue centre. Here, the children will learn about the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates. Overnight in Cuc Phuong.

What a magical way to start the day – with the sounds of the forest all around! After breakfast, we set off into the centre of the forest and commence a half day trek through lush rainforest and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans. In the afternoon drive back to Hanoi, free evening to relax. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, you will leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas and the world’s largest marine limestone ‘karst’ landscape. There you will board your boat, a wooden junk built from the model of the old Vietnamese court vessels with sails, a wide transom and rectangular superstructure, that will take you first to the busy World Heritage area and then to some of the less well-known grottoes and caves. Weather permitting, you will be able to swim, fish, climb a hill for an overview of the Bay’s remarkable seascape, or venture into some of the sea level caves in a small sampan and do some kayaking into the seclude areas of the bay. All your meals will be provided on board, usually based on fresh seafood.

Morning, you will have a guided tour to see the interesting sights of this ancient city. Some hundreds years ago, this town thrived on trading with the Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. You will visit a historical Old House, Japanese Covered Bridge, Old Temple and Silk Factory. Afternoon, take a short boat trip to a nearby island to visit some handicraft villages. Free day in Hoi An explore the town, enjoy water sports, visit the tailors or simply relax. For the aspiring little chefs – Vietnamese cooking lessons and tour of the morning markets could be arranged with additional cost. Overnight in Hoian.

Fly to the coastal resort of Nha Trang and settle into hotel. Free day to explore Nha Trang. Overnight in Nhatrang.

Today take a full day boat cruise around the islands off the coast of Nha Trang. There will be opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang. 

Today is free at leisure. You can spend the day to relax on the beach, go swimming, or playing some water sport, etc... on your own. Overnight in Nha Trang. 

Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City and settle into hotel. After lunch time, tour the maze of streets and experience the hustle and bustle of China town, ancient pagodas, mosques and cathedrals and War Museum. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
