15 Days Unforgettable Vietnam Family Vacation

This morning, we tour through the maze of streets and experience the hustle and bustle of the city. In the afternoon, you will have free time to take your kids out for ice-cream and try some local food. Overnght in Ho Chi Minh. 

After breakfast at hotel, we start the day with the two-hour drive to the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, we’ll board our boat for a cruise of one of the Delta's many tributaries, taking you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time under the shade of mangrove trees. Take a cycling trip on village paths to see the local daily life, etc. We will cruise to Vinh Long where we’ll be the guests of a local family for the night. 

Have a breakfast and take a leisure walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning. Check out the homestay and take the boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Our boat will go along the river. We will see how to farm catfish on Mekong river. Also, we can visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables... The cruise will end at the boat station in Vinh Long city around 10:00 AM. Meet our driver again for the trip back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. 

Today, we’ll take a half day trip to Chu Chi tunnels. Beside a historical story, your children will have a chance to enjoy a small adventure in the tunnel system of Cu Chi. The afternoon is free or we can arrange a trip upon request. Tonight, we’ll board the overnight train to Nha Trang. Spend the night on the train in the soft berth A/C cabin. 

Nha Trang is Vietnam’s premier beach resort city, after an early arrival we will have a full day boat cruise around the islands off the coast. There will be opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing on a deserted beach. Overnight in Nha Trang. 

Today, you will have a full day relaxing on the beach at Nha Trang before boarding the overnight train to Hoi An. Spend the night on the train in the soft berth A/C cabin. 

The train arrives in Danang early in the morning. Transfer to Hoi An ancient town, some 30km away. 
We enjoy our day with a half-day walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the Ancient Quarter. We will have lunch at Blue Dragon restaurant, a children’s foundation that helps street kids. After lunch we will head out to Cua Dai beach for a relaxing afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An. 

For the parents Hoi An gives you a great chance to visit the tailor for nice express clothes made. For children there are many things to see and learn. The beach is wonderful and the friendly environment and people will entertain you. Today, you will enjoy a free day. Overnight in Hoi An. 

Today we’ll drive north to the ancient capital of Hue. A stop will be made at the peak for a bird’s eye view over Danang city and Lang Co white sand beaches. Afternoon, we will enjoy an afternoon tour of the city. Overnight in Hue. 

This morning, we’ll have some free time in Hue before taking a midday flight to Hanoi, enjoying a half day city after checking in to the hotel. Tonight, we’ll watch the water puppet show and your kid can have a fun dinner with Pizza and French fries or try some local food in a Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi. 

Today, your family can learn a special Vietnamese recipe! In the morning, we’ll gather at 9.00 am and join the chief for a local market tour follow by an awesome cooking lesson and a good lunch at the restaurant. The afternoon is free time for shopping or further exploration of the city. Overnight in Hanoi. 

After breakfast, we’ll s drive to Halong Bay (approx 3 & a half hour drive). Upon arriving in Halong City, we’ll transfer to our private boat for a cruise of the crystalline emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. A scrumptious fresh, local seafood lunch will be served on board followed by a swim or do some kayaking or exploration of the cave! We will then find somewhere quiet to anchor for the night. Overnight onboard the boat. 

Rise early for a sunrise swim and breakfast, followed by a kayaking adventure. By lunch, we’ll return to the main harbor and drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
