Day 1: Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Can Tho (L)

08:00AM: Pickup at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City centre and enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit VinhTrang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages.
Later in the afternoon, meet our driver again for the drive to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong delta for overnight.

Day 2: Can Tho - Chau Doc - Tra Su Sanctuary (B/L)

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets, which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made.
Proceed to Chau Doc and continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds. Back to the town, hotel check in. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 3: Chau Doc – Tram Chim National Park – Cao Lanh (B/L)

After breakfast, take a nice boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish in their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque.

After that, leave Chau Doc for Dong Thap Muoi with endless rice fields and lotus flower lakes. Upon arriving at Tram Chim National Park, take a boat to explore the core zone of this amazing park. Enjoy lunch featuring local specialties. During the rainy season, observe diverse wildlife such as birds and storks, and during the dry season, marvel at the famed Red-headed Cranes. Later in the day, transfer to Cao Lanh for overnight.

Day 4: Cao Lanh – Xeo Quyt – Sa Dec - Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

Morning, transfer to Xeo Quyt forest. On arrival in Xeo Quyt, you have a chance to experience exciting moments on the sampan boat weaving into wild narrow canals hidden under layers of green and yellow climbing plants. Have lunch at the local restaurant.
Afternoon, transfer to Sa Dec and visit the Ancient House and its incredible love story between Huynh Thuy Le and French writer Marguerite Duras, visit Tan Quy Dong Flower Village, a traditional craft village over 100 years old, located on the banks of the poetic Tien River, fertile alluvial land, full of sunlight, and is known as the homeland of ornamental flowers.
