Day 1: HANOI - HALONG BAY - BAI TU LONG BAY

08:00 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Halong Bay (extra transfer service can be booked in the next step)

12h15 – 12h30: Arriving Hon Gai Harbor, Ha Long City. Transfer to Halong Viola Cruises by tender.

12h45: Enjoy welcome drink then check in your cabin.

13h30: Cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay & having Buffet lunch.

15h30: Exploring Vung Vieng Fishing Village: Guest choose to discover the daily life of the fisher communities by bamboo boat (one hour) or kayaking around Vung Vieng area (one hour).

16h30: Swimming & Sunbathing at Ban Chan Beach.

17h30: Relax and enjoy the sunset party with Happy Hour (from 5h30pm- 7h30pm) while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong-Cong Do area to anchor for overnight.

18h00: Taking part in the cooking class: Learning how to cook traditional Vietnamese Cuisines.

Just had a 2 day 1 night awesome experience with our guide "Lucky" real name Hoi, who is the best in the business.
Couldn't fault anything- it was just like the photos - food was fantastic, service was great - love to come back with this company again.

We had a fantastic 2 day cruise on this stylish boat with a guide called Lucky who made the trip even better. He gave lots of information about Vietnam as well as his personal stories of patience & his children's birthdays which were endearing. We had a fantastic 2 day cruise on this stylish boat with a guide called Lucky who made the trip even better. He gave lots of information about Vietnam as well as his personal stories of patience & his children's birthdays which were endearing. We visited the floating village & cave & did some kayaking which we haven't done in years but was fun. The demonstration by the chef of how to make flowers from vegetables will be interesting to try at home but probably not as successful. The boat was fairly small compared to some of the other boats we saw but this meant we enjoyed the company of some very interesting travellers.

The night before my 2 day Viola Cruise experience I fell ill in my Hanoi hotel. When I woke up I was thankfully feeling better to endure the three hour bus ride up to Ha Long Bay. As soon as the bus arrived I was greeted by the very cordial "Lucky" who would be my tour guide for the trip. He did everything in his power to try and help me feel comfortable which included giving me water and some pills to fight my illness. When we got to our boat I was in no shape to go on the first tour so I went to bed and slept for the afternoon and night. When I woke up the next morning Lucky was right there to ensure I was ok. Thankfully I was feeling so much better!! After getting some breakfast we went out on our day tour which included some kayaking, lunch on another Viola boat, a cave experience and some swimming. Lucky was with us all the way and was great at answering our questions and entertaining us. His hospitality was fantastic the entire trip and he was very attentive. The boat was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The food was good and all the other staff were very friendly. The natural beauty of Ha Long Bay is well worth the trip from Hanoi. Ask to be with Lucky and you won't be disappointed. He is a great guy! Thanks for everything!
