The floating markets in the Mekong Delta are no tourist markets but wholesale markets where produce of the Mekong Delta like fruits and vegetables are traded. For this reason the number of boats on the market fluctuates depending on harvesting seasons and market demand. Furthermore, modern wholesale markets are becoming more popular in Vietnam. My husband, daughter and I went on the two nights Mekong Eyes Cruise (see website "3-day Mekong Delta River Cruise to the Floating Markets of Cai Rang and Cai Be") It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks stay in Southern and Mid Vietnam. We booked two cabins and considered the price very fair as it included all food. The Mekong Eyes boat was extremely clean and well ..More -

We did the 3 night trip on Mekong Eyes. It was amazing and we loved every minute. The boat is a beautiful restored junk boat and even though it looks great in the pictures, it is even lovelier when you see it. We had a cabin at the back with a little deck. This was a nice spot to sit and see the sunset. There were only 5 passengers including us, so not a busy time. I was pleased we did ..More -

We were a group of 18 people, mostly from Australia, really friendly and the tour guides were so cute to us. We did a lot of things but we weren’t tired, it was so comfortable. The rooms ..More
