7 Days Vietnam Cambodia Tour

Have breakfast at hotel. Today, you will take a day trip to visit Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. The travel starts at 8:00-08:30am on the new highway which takes around 3 hour drive including one stop in midway to relax. You will arrive at Halong Bay at noon. Embark on a traditional style wooden junk around noon. Lunch will be served on boat during your cruise. You will cruise around the bay with rocks, islets, caves and grottos. You then will visit to the one of the most beautiful caves in Halong bay. Late afternoon / early evening, drive back to Hanoi for overnight in Hanoi.

This morning, we will have a half day to explore more of Hanoi. We will visit Tran Quoc pagoda on the Westlake, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, visit the complex of Ho Chi Minh historical sites, also called the political center of Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His house on stilt, One-pillar Pagoda, and then visit the Temple of Literature for the brief understanding about the two most popular religions in Vietnam (Buddhism and Confucianism).
Afternoon, transfer to Hanoi airport for the 2 hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you are met by our guide at the airport for the 30 minute transfer to the hotel in city center.
Evening, you are free to explore the Ben Thanh night market or enjoy walking at Bui Vien walking streets. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Morning, pick up from your hotel and drive from your hotel to Hoc Mon District to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is 70 kilometers North West of down town Ho Chi Minh City. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. And it was continuing built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years.... getting married, giving birth. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. 
Afternoon, you will explore this cosmopolitan city o­n a guided tour. High lights are the famed Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, War Remnant Museum and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Morning, leave the hotel in Saigon and enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.  On arrived at My Tho in the Mekong Delta, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank., enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals. 
Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the car and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City airport for the one hour flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. On arrival, meet our guide at the arrival hall at the airport for the 30 minute transfer to the hotel in city center. Overnight in Siem Reap.  

After having your breakfast at the hotel, we will explore to visit The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayon, Baphoun and Leper King Terrace, Phimeanakas and then Ta Prohm. 
Afternoon, continue your trip with Thommanon, Chaosay, Ta Keo and the center religious beliefs of Cambodia, Angkor Wat, one of the “Seven Wonders’ of the world”. At the end of the day, you will climb to the top Bakheng Mountain or Pre Rup Temple to watch the extraordinary sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.
