- Less than 11 days prior to the check-in date: 100% of total rate.

- Booking from 11-16 cabins:
- More than 45 days prior to the check-in date: No cancellation charge
- From 45 to 31 days prior to the check-in date: 25% of total rate.
- From 30 to 17 days prior to the check-in date: 50% of total rate.
- From 16 to 11 days prior to the check-in date: 50% of total rate.
- Less than 11 days prior to the check-in date: 100% of total rate.
- No show: 100% of total rate.

Child Policy

Free of charge for child less than 6 years old if sharing existing bed and existing cabin with parents and sharing foods with parents, no separate foods.
Maximum one child from 6-11 years old is allowed to stay in parents' cabin and will be charged children prices.
Children from 12 years old are fully charged as adult prices.

My cousin and I took the Oriental Sails 3 day, 2 night cruise. This was our favorite part of our trip to Vietnam. We were picked up by Oriental Sails bus at our hotel in Old a quarter Hanoi. My cousin and I took the Oriental Sails 3 day, 2 night cruise. This was our favorite part of our trip to Vietnam. We were picked up by Oriental Sails bus at our hotel in Old a quarter Hanoi. Sailing Ha Long Bay was even more beautiful than we had anticipated. Our tour guide, Tommy, was great. He was with us from the bus ride all the way through the second day of our trip. He was knowledgeable about the area & spoke very good English. The rooms were what we expected for a small boat cruise. The day activities were great - kayaking, swimming, tours, etc. I would recommend two days if you want to do more active water activities.

Our cruise was cut short by a day due to an incoming monsoon, but we were refunded a fair amount & brought back to Ha Long city to take the bus back to Hanoi.

Very good trip, would definitely recommend. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. Lots of food was served and drinks are very cheap.

I would highly recommend Oriental Sails if you’re looking to do a Halong Bay boat trip. Professional, organised, a lovely boat and we were very well looked after. The food was great and plentiful! I’m vegetarian and they looked after me very well. The cooking class was fun too, I’m going to try to make those veggie spring rolls as soon as I get home! ..More
I would highly recommend Oriental Sails if you’re looking to do a Halong Bay boat trip. Professional, organised, a lovely boat and we were very well looked after. The food was great and plentiful! My only suggestion would be that the tour companies stagger the times that they visit the caves (all boats go at the same time) as it was just way too crowded. Halong Bay is stunning, one of our world’s wonders. Very peaceful.
