Morning, you are welcomed and picked up by our private guide by the ship in Chan May port or Tien Sa port. Then, transfer to Danang city center.
The Danang city tour begins with the visit to the Cham Sculpture Museum. Browse the remarkable collection of Cham sculptures and artefacts dating from the 7th to 15th century.
Then continue to Danang’s Military Zone Museum. See the extensive collection of historic military equipment and insightful displays about national revolutions and the Vietnam-American war.
Take a drive south to Marble Mountain, a group of limestone and marble hills filled with caves. Travel to the top and gaze upon the city, seeing new high rise buildings standing alongside traditional wooden houses. Then explore the mountain’s main cave to see a beautiful Buddha statue built in the Cham style.
After lunch at a scenic restaurant, continue exploring Danang with a visit to the Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsular. This serene compound features stunning views over the sea and the Cham Islands. The pagoda is dominated by a 67-metre statue of Guanyin, the goddess of mercy. The locals believe Guanyin protects fishermen from danger so it is not uncommon to see devotees making offerings or saying prayers at the base of the statue.
You’ll pass My Khe Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches Forbes magazine’s voted.
End the day with the visit to to Han Market. Explore row after row of dry goods for sale and mingle with the local shoppers.
Transfer back to the port. Arrive to the ship at least one hour before the departure time. End of the Danang shore excursion.

1. Danang Cruise Port Terminal
The cruise port that serves Danang Vietnam are Tien Sa Port situated in Danang, some 13km to Danang center and Chan May Port situated at Binh An village, Loc Vinh Commune, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province, some 34km to the north.
2. Vietnamese Currency
The currency of Vietnam is the Dong, however, US dollars are widely accepted. There are approximately 23,000 dong to 1 USD.
3. Weather in Danang
Unlike Northern Vietnam, Danang is a city of two seasons with warm weather averaging 29°C dominating for most of the year. The wet monsoon season spans the months from September through to January with a dry season for the rest of the year.
Most days temperatures average between 25°C and 30°C with the hottest months being June and July.

Our trip was enjoyable, thanks to our lovely tour guide Phong. He was helpful and really nice. It covered most of danang city favorite places and the history explanation make us getting more knowledge for understanding of the places we went.
