Day 1: Phu My Port - Vung Tau City - Phu My Port (L)

Morning, you are warmly welcomed and picked up by us outside the gate of Phu My port (if you are arriving at other port, please request for different quote) and drive to Vung Tau City. We will start our Vung Tau shore excursion with the first visit to Thich Ca Phat Dai pagoda, one of the largest in Vung Tau. It attracts pilgrims from around the whole country. Visit the French-built Light House and the Giant Jesus statue.
Continue to visit White House Palace (a summer residence of the last Emperor of Vietnam, Bao Dai), offering a wonderful view of the beach and the city.

You might want to relax by the beach or want to visit a local market before the transfer back to the port. End of the Vung Tau tour from Phu My port.

1. Vung Tau Cruise Port Terminals

The cruise port that serves Vung Tau Vietnam is Phu My port, a commercial port on the Vietnam East Sea, some 40km to Vung Tau City.
The port is out in the middle of nowhere so don’t expect to walk around and find things to do.

The driver and the tour guide are very polite, experienced and knowledgeable.
They both always made sure that we were comfortable and safe before leaving us alone.
Also, my wife was very happy that Mr. Dau did not talk about politic or a so-called “how great thou are”.
She was very unhappy with the local tour guide that Diamond Princess utilized in HUE. He talked about politic whenever he had a chance that made her embarrassed with the other tourists (Most of them are Australians and New Zealanders). “It has been 40 years” she said, “history will always reveal the TRUTH” and the current situation of the country speaks out for itself.”
