Bhaya Classic Cruise

we were on Bhaya 4 the staff were brilliant food was amazing. when we boarded the head of dining came to ask everyone if they had anything they didnt like or couldnt eat as my husband doesnt like fish they catered for him amazingly always giving him the option of meat or a vegetable alternative and for the size of the boat i thought that was first class service. i had a massage while on board really good would recomend it . the whole of the cruise was exceptional nice cabins good trips and onboard activities . its a must thing to do in vietnam

Me and my husband went in February 2020 this year to travel Vietnam for our honeymoon straight after our wedding. Best choice we had done is arranged with our travel agent to have booked few tours and packages which one of them included a 1 night cruise on the bhaya classic cruise. This was a beautiful relaxing cruise. We arrived on port where we were provided a nice drink and introduced to the manager of the cruise boat, we were then taken on deck to our cruise boat and introduced to the lovely team who were going to be taking us on along the Harlong bay cruise. We arrived around lunch time so lunch was served on the cruise, since we were vegetarian, they were very mindful of our dietary requirements and brought us a variety from entree to desert to our table. The food was delicious. Throughout the day/night we were able to enjoy the view in getting use to the rooms and sitting on deck and ordering drinks, snacks and mingling with other guest on board. Entertainment in the evening included a spring roll challenge with the chef and other guest and then a enjoyable vegetarian dinner again catered for our needs. With a surprise arrangement that was made with the manager as it was our honeymoon, a special dessert drinks we provided to us which as lovely. Even tho the cabin room was a little small, with own private en-suite, it was decorated beautifully with decoration and appears boutique looking. Following day arrangement was to view the cave, however the weather was not helpful to go inside therefore, we were unable to go and arrived back to port earlier.

There are tons of cruise companies on Halong Bay to choose from, but Bhaya Cruises is fabulous. We had a 3 night cruise with them in February and it was one of the best experiences ever!

Bhaya is one of the largest cruise companies on Halong Bay, and their traditional “junk” was anything but junk! It’s sort of a boutique cruise with good size cabins for two, with comfy beds and amazing views. The staff and crew on their ship are very professional and entertaining, and the food is phenomenal!!

Bhaya’s wooden junks have 15-20 classic cabins, and 3-7 premium cabins... all of them air-conditioned! The price of the cruise includes your cabin, all of your amazing meals (7-8 dishes each meal!), a cooking class, morning tai chi or yoga, happy hour, and all of your onboard and off-board activities (kayaking, cave exploring, fishing village). The only thing you have to pay for onboard is your cocktails, and a massage if you need one.

Our through the Bay took us to Trinh Nu Cave, swimming and kayaking at Trinh Nu Cave, and to the largest cave in Halong Bay, Sung Sot Cave. We also got the opportunity to visit the Cua Van fishing villages, and kayak at Ho Ba Ham where there's a lot less tourists and boats.

I highly recommend this company, and would sail with them again in a heartbeat!
