Indochina Sails 2 days

Highlight

Enjoy a 2 days and 1 night in Halong Bay to experience the stunning emerald sea with thousands of lime-stone mountains. Our itineraries are designed to maximize your holiday experience and enjoyment.

Day 1: HANOI - HALONG BAY

08:00 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi (extra transfer service can be booked in the next step)

11.45 - 12.00 Boarding our boat at Tuan Chau Port – enjoy welcome drink, receive cruise briefing and safety instructions.

13.00 – 14.00 After the welcome aboard, be served with lunch while cruising towards the bay.

14.00 Cruise through Halong Bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas including Incense Burner, Kissing Rocks.

14.45 Visit Surprise Cave (or Me Cung Cave*), two of Ha Long Bay's most renowned and breathtaking natural wonders. We will walk up to the cave entrance and tour inside for about 45 minutes, then exit and go back to the cruise. → Good walking shoes are recommended.

17.30 Depart and cruise for about 30 minutes to anchor overnight.

18.15 Join our Head Chef for a captivating cooking demonstration. You'll learn to create and beautifully present traditional Vietnamese dishes, gaining insight into our unique artistry and techniques.

19.15 Dinner is served.

20.30 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available. Also, everyone can try their luck at squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew.

22.30 End of Program for Day 1. Overnight on boat.

Day 2: HALONG BAY - HANOI

06.00 Light breakfast: Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the restaurant.

06.30 Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.

07.30 Visiting Titov island for swimming or climb up to the top & enjoy Halong bay panorama view. → Good walking shoes recommended. Towels will be provided. Beach chairs are available for rent at your own expense (approx. 30,000 VND).

09.00 Upon returning to the boat, guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Check-out. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier).

09.30 Enjoy a Brunch in the restaurant. Bills are settled after Brunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

10.30 Transfer to the pier by speedboat.

11.00 Arrive at Tuan Chau port, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

15:00-15:30 Arrive to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel. End of the trip.

08.15 Today, you'll embark on a unique day trip aboard a traditional local boat. Explore the hidden coves and serene waters of Ha Long and Lan Ha Bays. Enjoy activities like swimming, kayaking... This unique opportunity offers an immersive experience where you can temporarily step away from luxury to engage in the life of local fishermen. Venture deeper into the bay to interact with its peaceful beauty and calm, embracing a simpler and more authentic lifestyle.

11:45 Lunch will be served on the local boat.

15:00 Back to the cruise and transfer to the overnight cruises at Titov area.

Return Hanoi: 3:30 PM
The FOC rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 5 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
Children from 5-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate. Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/1night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days/2 nights program (already included in children rate). An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days/1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days/ 2nights program if require. This extra service is subject to Paradise Cruises availability.
The child rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adult is applied
Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $50 per person per night applies for travel period from 20 December 2016 to 5 January 2017.
Shuttle bus: $35/ adult and $30/ child round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House

There are many choices of Ha Long Bay cruise lines and I was hoping for a good experience on our 2 day 1 night cruise. I wasn't disappointed! It was fun, comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cave excursion is a must. The beautiful wood interior of the boat added elegance to our experience. There are many choices of Ha Long Bay cruise lines and I was hoping for a good experience on our 2 day 1 night cruise. I wasn't disappointed! I loved the activities such as morning Tai Chi, as well as the amount of free time we had just to relax and take everything in. The team at IS were so friendly and the service was impeccable. Our room was clean and had a balcony which was amazing! Overall, the whole experience was amazing (Halong Bay is so beautiful it is hard to put into words) and a lot of this came down to the Indochina Sails team... thank you David, Thom and crew... we hope to be back soon.
