Day 1: HA NOI - HAI PHONG - LAN HA BAY

9:00 - 9:30	LA REGINA LEGEND CRUISE luxury limousine picks you up at your hotel at Hanoi Old Quarter to travel to La Regina Private Lounge – arrive at around 11h30. The 2-hour journey from Hanoi to Got Ferry via the new Hanoi – Hai Phong highway is seen as a much quicker and smoother than the classic 4-hour drive to other ferries in Halong City. It’s a huge advantage when cruising with La Regina Legend Cruise.
12:30	Let your vacation start with a welcome drink and wet towel during the time that our Cruise Manager introduce the safety briefing. The boat start to cruise to Lan Ha bay.
13:15	Delicious set menu lunch is served in La Corona restaurant.
15:30	Feel free to discover Trung Trang cave, one iconic and historic cave in Cat Ba island
17:30 - 19:00	Enjoy your time with the beautiful sunset on the bay and join “Happy Hour” – 30% Discount off all drinks onboard
18:30	Join our Cooking Class on sundeck with the Chef on boat and learn how to prepare one of the most iconic dish of Vietnamese cuisine.

07:30	The boat anchor at Tra Bau area, it is time to discover the natural beauty of Lan Ha bay by kayaking or swimming.
9:00 – 9:45	Back to the main boat for relaxing and check out at the reception, please put all your luggage at the outside of your cabin, crew member will help to bring luggage on land.
09:45	Brunch is served in the restaurant while the boat heads back to the harbor.
11:30	Disembark at the harbor

We took the 3D2N cruise. It was a very nice ship. Modern and very clean. Except for a couple of exceptions, the staff was very courteous. We especially enjoyed Mr. Dai (100). He made sure we had a great experience and shared a lot of great information about Vietnam history and culture. He's the best! We took the 3D2N cruise. It was a very nice ship. Modern and very clean. Except for a couple of exceptions, the staff was very courteous. We especially enjoyed Mr. Dai (100). He made sure we had a great experience and shared a lot of great information about Vietnam history and culture. He's the best! Ask him to sing Ed Sheeran :) I definitely recommend taking the 2N cruise. On our 2nd day, we had the entire ship and tour to ourselves. They truly made us feel like VIPs. The excursions were nice, but short. Accommodations were comfortable. Final night and day were dampened a bit by a large party (family reunion) that joined with many rambunctious children. The staff did there best to minimize the impact and we still had a nice time. Transfers were comfortable and convenient. I would definitely recommend.

I agree with the other reviewer saying that they are trying abit too hard to be fancy though. The food served on board was really underwhelming and not what you would expect to find on a "luxury" cruise. Also, the visit to the "fishing village" was just to a nearby dock for kayaking. Nothing wrong with that though we wished that they would just call it a kayak excursion (vs a village visit) like how it really is. The most unpleasant part of our trip was having no electricity the entire night in our cabin. It happened at about 1am and there was no staff available nor anyone we can reach to fix the problem until morning. The most unsettling part of this experience was when we gave this feedback to the cruise manager, he was defensive, nonchalant and dismissive. It was a really uncomfortable and unpleasant experience to say the least. For the amount of money we paid to go on this cruise, we cannot honestly recommend them to anyone. There are better options out there.ty.
